Mary Jean Yoder, age 91 years, went home to be with Jesus on May 15, 2025. She was born in Canton, Ohio on November 14, 1933 to the late Alva K. and Barbara (Mast) Lapp. She was married to Nelson L. Yoder on April 5, 1956 at Pleasant View A.M. Church where she was a member since 1955.

She is survived by her 5 children, Loyal (Betty) Yoder-Hartville, OH, Miriam (Gerald) Zimmerman-Newmanstown, PA, Merlin (Glenda) Yoder-Westminster, SC, Barbara Jean (Dean) Miller-Harrison, AR, and James (Lucrecia) Yoder-Stone Creek, OH; 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers Mervin Lapp, Floyd (Wilma) Lapp and John (Rachel) Lapp; 2 sisters Elsie Hostetler and Joyce (Reuben) Coblentz; numerous relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her faithful husband, Nelson Yoder, 2 sisters, Bertha Lapp, Nancy Yoder, and 1 brother, Nelson Lapp.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 18th from 3-7 p.m. at Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church, 10547 Market Ave N, Uniontown, OH 44685.

Funeral services will be held at the church on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m.
