Mary Magdalena Sommers, age 80 of Uniontown, passed way Tuesday May 3, 2016 at Altercare of Hartville. She was born September 2, 1935 in Uniontown to Benjamin and Lena (Wittmer) Sommers and has been a lifetime resident. She was a member of Maple Grove Mennonite Church. Mary began working at the Hartville Flea Market when she was sixteen and then worked at the Restaurant and retired from the Hartville Hardware.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Vernon, Mart Sommers.

She is survived by a brother and sisters-in-law Earl (Elva) Sommers, Amanda Sommers and Clara Sommers; 31 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and a community of friends and co- workers.

Funeral Services will be Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Maple Grove Mennonite Church with Pastor Rod Miller officiating. Calling hours are Friday 5-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday 9-10:00 am all at the Church.
