Mary Helen Morrow, 102, passed away April 4, 2013. She was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Bunker of Magnolia. Mary Helen graduated from McKinley High School in 1928 and Western Reserve University in 1932. She was a home economist for the Ohio Power Company and retired from teaching in the Plain Local School System. She was a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, a member of Glenwood Garden Club and was active in Girl Scout leadership for many years. Mary Helen was a wonderful example of kindness, love and service to others. If a friend was ill or had a problem, Mary Helen was first to arrive with a cooked meal or a plate of brownies. She was also known for rescuing lost dogs and returning them to their rightful owner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Fred" Morrow and her brother, Robert E. Bunker, she is survived by daughter Cynthia of Canton, son William of Charlottesville, VA and her beloved granddaughter, Lauren of Walnut Creek, CA. The family would like to thank the Special Care Unit of the Canton Regency, Crossroads Hospice and Dr. Maria Young for their loving care of Mary Helen. Funeral service will be 3:30 P.M. Sunday in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Diana Thompson & Pastor Robert Sander officiating. Private interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
