Mary Katherine Lashinske, age 82, of Canton, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday morning, after a lengthy illness. Born in Barnesville, Ohio on May 2, 1926 to the late Chester and Carrie (Hayes) Kinney. Mary was a 1944 graduate of McKinley High School, member of AARP #2898 and of First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William of 61 years in January 2008. Survivors include 3 daughters: Mrs. Gary (Karen) Taylor, Mrs. Don (Sandra) Clark both of Massillon. Vicki Wilson of Canton. Son: Bill Lashinske Jr. of N. Canton. Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Brother Chet Kinney of Barnesville. Funeral service will be Monday 11:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Pastor Kevin Slyh officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 5 to 8 P.M.
