Mary J. Lape, age 92, of Canton, passed away on Monday November 20, 2017. She was born March 26, 1925 in Uhrichsville to the late Frank and Marvel (Mahaffey) Adams. She was a secretary at Hercules White Engines. Mary sold thousands of apples for Johnny Lape's Orchard and thousands of lemonades with her concessions at local fairs.

Preceded in death by husband John Lape and brother John Adams; she is survived by her nieces and nephew Marcia Humerickhouse, Karen Pennel and John II (Particia) Adams; step- daughter Margie (Lynn) Grennho; and other family and friends.

Calling hours are Monday 12 noon to 1:00 PM at Arnold Funeral Home in Canton. Graveside prayers will be at West Lawn Cemetery following the calling hours.
