Mary Ann Clar, age 76, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017. She was born on April 11, 1940 in Canton to the late Allan and Jennie (Kloner) Cohon and graduated from McKinley High School in 1958. She married Jay Clar on December 18, 1960. She worked for several places, became a mother, and worked for 12 years at Stark County Clerk of Courts. She was a life member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jay; children David (Karen) Clar of Cleveland, Fran (David) Johnson of North Canton. She was the beloved Bubbee of Alex, Samantha, Matthew and Alayna Johnson, Lauren and Emily Clar; and also survived by brother Bennett Cohon of Los Angeles, CA.

Funeral services are Thursday 10 AM at Shaaray Torah Synagogue with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Final resting place is Canton Hebrew Cemetery.
