Mary L. (DeGiralomo) Chirumbolo, age 85, of Plain Township passed away after a long and courageous battle peacefully in her residence Friday evening, January 10, 2014 surrounded by family. Born in Middlebranch, OH to the late Leonard and Josephine (Motto) DeGiralomo, she was a 1946 graduate of Middlebranch High School. Mary retired from the Dime Bank (Central Trust) in 1990. Mary was a member of Little Flower Catholic Parish, Altar Rosary Society, and Catholic Golden Agers. She will be remembered as a very caring and generous wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years Tony of the residence. Sister: Mrs. Vickie Stenger of Uniontown and a brother: Elmer (Katie) DeGiralomo of N. Canton. Many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces/ nephews, great-great-nieces / nephews, and a host of friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers: Giovanna DeGiralomo, Jennie Veitinger, Margaret Benik, Louie, Prosby, Tony, and Lynn DeGiralomo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 1:00 P.M. in Little Flower Catholic Parish with Fr. Donald L. Feicht as officiant. Entombment will be in North Lawn Mausoleum. Friends may call in the church on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Altar Rosary Society of Little Flower Catholic Parish 2040 Diamond St., N.E.
