Mary Ann Sacomani Born, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Thursday January 3, 2013. She was born August 2, 1936. Survived by husband David, son David and wife Elaine, son Jonathan and wife Leigh, seven grandchildren and sister Lucille Campana. Mary Ann as Sr. Mariana OSU taught at the following schools: St. Charles, Boardman; Sacred Heart, Youngstown; St. Joan of Arc, Canton; and Ursuline Pre School in Canfield. Then as Mrs. Born, at Highland, Struthers; substituted at St. Matthew, Ellet; St. Joseph, Randolph; and in the Akron city schools. Calling hours are at Arnold Funeral Home, 504 W. Maple St, Hartville Sunday 3-7 PM. Viewing will also be Monday morning before the 11 AM Mass at Holy Spirit Church, 2952 Edison St., Uniontown beginning at 9:30 AM. Several Priests will hear Confessions at least an hour before the Mass. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow holiness. "Come spill your guts!" (Mary Ann's words.) In lieu of flowers, make a donation to the Moshi Water Well Project started by Mary Ann, which is collecting for its fourth water well. These wells are providing life giving water to our brothers and sisters in Africa.
