Mary Lou (Maxwell, Quass) Bendroth, began the next phase of her life on February 28, 2024. She was born in Canton on August 20, 1938, to Josiah and Ethel (Baughman) Maxwell. She graduated from Lincoln High School and after staying home to help raise her family she worked in the banking and insurance industries. Mary Lou then spent over 35 years in the real estate industry, ultimately running her own agency, The Bendroth Agency. She served her local realtors as a past president of the Stark County Association of Realtors and served on various committees throughout her career. She was a past member of Reedburban Presbyterian Church and was currently attending Star in the East Messianic Temple.

Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband Carl Bendroth; 1st Husband William J. Quass Jr.; sister Nancy Jo McManus; Carl's son Carl J. Bendroth Jr.; son in law Joseph F. Kearns. She is survived by daughters Michele R. Kearns and Nancy (Reginald) Reynolds; Carl's daughter Carol K. Mayer and son Gregory (Susan) Sells; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; nephews Daniel (fiancée Christie Fain) McManus and Thomas Eframedes.

A private burial has taken place at North Lawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, March 10 at 3 PM at Star In the East Messianic Temple with Rabbi Michael Oyler officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the temple at 4120 Martindale Rd. NE. Canton, Ohio 44705.
