Mary M. August, age 60 of North Canton, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, September 20, 2010 at her home. She was born November 20, 1949 in Canton to Herbert and Mary (Hinerman) Wise and has been a lifetime area resident. Mary was a 1967 Lake High School graduate and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Hartville. Mary and her husband Jerry were co-owners of the Kustard Korner in Canton from 1996 until 2010 with Russ and Jill Williams. She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 40 years Jerry August; daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer August of Canton, Janet and Heath Dawson of Clayton, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Sarah August of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister, Robin Wise of Ashville, North Carolina; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Kathryn Wise of Brockport, New York, David and Sue Wise of Hartville, John and Shawn Wise of Westerville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Samantha August and James Dawson. Calling hours will be Wednesday 5-8:00p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Funeral services will be Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor John Tucker officiating.
