Marvin R. Snyder, age 91, of Canton, died Tuesday in his residence. Born in Canton to the late John F. and Kittie M. (Knight) Snyder, he was a life resident. An Army Air Corp Veteran of WW II he was the former owner of Snyder's Mowers and Marv's Lawn Irrigation. A member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife: Phyllis his second wife: Pearl, and his sister: Esther Scott. Survivors include two daughters: Carol Lynn Snyder of Canton and Mrs. Marsha Jean (Gary) Toth of Louisville, KY. Three step children, 14 step grandchildren and 19 step great grandchildren. Funeral service will be on Friday 10:30 A.M. in Westbrook Park United Methodist Church with Rev. John C. Mather officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery Uniontown, OH. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home710 Tuscarawas St., W. and 1 hour prior to the service in church.
