Martha Pavlak of Hartville, age 96, passed away January 27, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Martha was born October 22, 1920 in Saint Michael, Pennsylvania to the late John and Maria (Habes) Blasco. She has been a resident of the Hartville area for the past 40 years. Martha retired from the Akron Public School System in 1983 after teaching 28 years. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Stephen Pavlak. She is survived by her sons Craig and Karen Pavlak, Brad and Debbie Pavlak; sister Peggy (George) Gran all of Hartville; grandsons Kyle (Staci) Pavlak , Erik (April) Pavlak; great-grandchildren Mallory, Kinsley, and Cole Pavlak, Jacob, Brady and Anna Pavlak; and special sister-in-law Gloria Weyandt. Also preceded in death by her sisters Helen Cooper, Marie Conjelko and Kate Steinberg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at Little Flower Catholic Church with Father Leo Wehrlin as celebrant. Calling hours are Monday 5-7:30 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville and one hour prior to services in the church (Tuesday 10-11:00 AM).
