Martha A. Marshall, age 88, of North Canton, passed away peacefully in her home Thursday afternoon. She was born in Logan, West Virginia to the late Nicholas and Susan (Baron) Kakos. Martha was an avid gardener and truly enjoyed the outdoors, volunteered at the Canton Garden Center and enjoyed her card clubs. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (Christ the Servant Parish), Four Seasons and Our Lady of Peace Garden Clubs. Martha loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph P. Marshall in 1994, sisters, Marie Kakos, Ann Marie Lorentz and brother, Nick Kakos. Martha is survived by daughters, Susan (Richard) Venuto, Nicolette I. Marshall Williams, and Mary Anne Marshall all of North Canton; son, Joseph (Debbie) Marshall of Uniontown; grandchildren, Jennifer, Nancy, Julie (Mike), Christopher (Amber), Laura, Isabella and Joey; great-grandchildren, Ava, AJ, Nicholas, Jack, Lily, Savannah and Addison. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday in the Christ the Servant Parish with Rev. Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano as celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
