Martha Evelyn Aubele, age 89, of Hartville formerly of Akron, passed away on Friday May 6, 2022. She was born in Clarksburg, WV on October 25, 1932 to the late George and Mary Macel (Sutton) Scarff. She lived 89 years, and up until 3 weeks ago was completely independent living on her own. Her feisty approach to life will always be her hallmark, and those she encountered will remember her for laughter, sense of humor and love of the Steelers and her family.

Preceded in death by husband Edward "Bud" Aubele in 1988; and brothers Rob Scarff and Jim Scarff. She is survived by her sons Keith Robert (Soraya) Aubele and Kevin (Nancy) Aubele; grandchildren Brendan, Allison, Brian, Shannon, Sophia and Ian; several great-grandchildren; siblings Judy Guy, Dave (Joanie) Scarff, Bunny Meredith, Rick (Sharon) Scarff; and other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
