Marna F. Holcomb, age 92 of North Canton, passed away Saturday November 11, 2023, in the Sanctuary Grande. She was born March 29, 1931, in Dellroy, Ohio to Bray and Mildred (Davy) Toot. Mrs. Holcomb was a third-grade Teacher in Canton City and Canton Local schools for thirty-one years.   She was a graduate of Kent State University and a member of Delta Zeta sorority.  Marna was a devoted member of Christ Presbyterian Church for over 60 years where she served in many roles including Sunday school teacher and elder and active member of Compassionate Friends. She loved reading, traveling, and gardening, but most of all she loved her family.

Marna was preceded in death by her husband William T. Holcomb in 1993; son William C. Holcomb in 1980 and brother Carl Toot in 2013. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Dona Holcomb of Cincinnati, grandsons, Scott and Brady Holcomb of Cincinnati and a brother, Gene Toot of East Liverpool.

Following a private family burial in North Lawn Cemetery, a public memorial service will be held Friday November 17, 11:00 a.m. in Christ Presbyterian Church with Pastor Ben George officiating.
