Marlyn Dorthen Zerby, age 58, of Louisville, passed away Thursday morning in Mercy Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Marlyn was born in Canton to Ray and Wilma (Himes) Kennedy. Marlyn had worked the Criminal Division at Canton City Hall. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and time with her family. Preceded in death by her father; she is survived by her mother Wilma Kennedy of Waynesburg, husband of 39 years David Scott Zerby, two sons; David Zerby and fiancé April Pine, and Daniel Zerby all of Louisville, six grandchildren; DJ, Chelsie, Kelsie and Logan Zerby, Olivia and Logan Pine also of Louisville. Five Brothers: Ressie (Kathy) Kennedy of Waynesburg, Jim (Lisa) Kennedy of Alabama, Todd (Elizabeth) Kennedy of Green, Eric (Rebeka) Kennedy of Lake Mohawk, and Jeff (Cindy) Kennedy of Alabama. Two sisters; Dottie (Layne) Davis of North Canton and Rosemary (Ronnie) Ault of California. Uncle, Hubert Kennedy of Michigan, Aunt, Ruth (Charlie) Montgomery of North Carolina, many nieces, nephews and cousins. A private service will be held for the family.
