Marlene Zimmerman, age 78, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday November 13, 2013. She was born in Mingo County, West Virginia on December 23, 1935 to the late Oliver and Ruby (Blevins) Steele and spent her life in caring for others. She was an administrator at Convalescent Care Nursing Home and operated an adult care facility from her home since 1967. Preceded in death by her husband Harold "Gene" Zimmerman in 1991, husband Louie Braghieri in 2001 and brother Larry Steele. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Tim and Tracy Zimmerman; grandsons Brandon (and Barb Saunier) Zimmerman and Jordan (and Amanda Pappas) Zimmerman; great- granddaughter on the way Amelia; sister Brenda Mugnaini; niece and nephews Jim and Susie Walker, Kathy and Art Sanchez, Lanny and Marge Steele; and her friends at the group home.
