Mark Douglas (Doug) James

Doug James, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2023 after a short illness. Born to Bill and Carrie James on March 13, 1950.

Doug graduated from Springfield High School in 1968.  He was one of the best all-around athletes at the school and was inducted into the Springfield Hall of Fame in 2000.  Doug had many friends and always seemed to attract people wherever he went.

Preceded in death by his father and mother, Bill and Carrie, and brothers Dick and Tim.  He is survived by his daughter, Erin Martin, sons, Eric and Mark, brothers Dave (Missy), Jeff (Terri), and sister-in-law, Janet James.

Calling hours are Thursday April 6th, 3-4 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. A Memorial Service will begin at 4 PM.

THE COMMITTAL OF CREMAINS WILL BE HELD MONDAY APRIL 17 th at 9:45 AM at OHIO WESTERN RESERVE NATIONAL CEMETERY.
