Mark Charles Farage passed into glory on February 28, 2024, after a 10-year battle with dementia, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 14, 1954, to the late Peter and Mary Farage in Cleveland, Ohio.

Those mourning his loss include his beloved wife Suzan (nee Gergye) of 43 years, his sons, Steven (Darla) and Adam (Alexandra); seven grandchildren, Lillian, Logan, Levi, Chloe, Sophia, Elenna, and Peter.  Also left behind are brothers, Tim (Jimmye) and Chris (Gayle); nieces and nephews: Amanda, Godson Eric (Diana), Serena (Matt), Marah (Mitchell), Rachel, and Neal (Shannon); and Goddaughter, Amanda Congrove, along with many other extended family members that he loved and cared about.

Mark modeled a life of love, service, and unwavering commitment.  A prayer warrior at heart, he continually lifted up his family, future grandchildren and daughters-in-law, and the needs of many others.  Jesus was his cornerstone, guiding him to bless and serve those around him with an open heart.   His commitment was evident in his service to those at Church Upon the Rock (now New Life Christian Fellowship) and through mission trips to Mexico, Syria, and West Virginia, where he forged lasting friendships and memories.

Mark focused on helping others throughout his career, working with individuals facing alcoholism, neglected youth, and people with disabilities at the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities. He brought joy, laughter, and light to those around him.

Now, as we remember Mark, we find comfort in knowing he is free and at peace, spending eternity in the loving arms of Jesus.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at New Life Christian Fellowship (210 Grand Trunk Ave SW, Hartville, Ohio, 44632).  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 4, 2024, at New Life Christian Fellowship, with internment following at the Greenlawn Cemetery (2580 Romig Rd, Akron, OH 44320).
