Marjorie "Pat" Burtner, age 87, of Canton died Sunday evening in Allay Senior Care of Myers Lake. Born in Morgan County, Indiana to the late Lee and Bessie (Whittacre) Patrick she had resided here most of her life. Pat was a member of First Baptist Church and had been active with the Symphony League of Canton, Canton Woman's Club, Players Guild and was a member and past president of College Club. In addition to her parents Pat was preceded in death by her husband: Richard L. Burtner in 1974 and a son: Greg Burtner in 2004. Pat is survived by a daughter: Mrs. Peter (Debra) Archbold of Chicago, ILL. Three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Sister: Maryel Singelton of South Bend, IN and a daughter-in-law: Stephanie Burtner of Uniontown, OH. Funeral service will be Wednesday 11:00 A.M. in First Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin E.
