Marilyn J. Weekley, age 93, of Canton, passed away Thursday evening in the Laurels of Massillon. Born in Canton to the late Clarence and Amie (Strauss) Dinius, she was employed by the Hoover Company for a short time, married the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" L. Weekley in 1944 and then became a homemaker raising her daughters. Marilyn was a member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck in 2006 and sister, Janice Kelly. Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Cheryl K. Eisenbrei and Debbie (Kurt) Kent; grandchildren, Kevin Eisenbrei, Amanda Kent (Fiancé Greg Berry), Katie (Kevin) Powers, and Kim (Marc) Hampton; and brother, Dwain Dinius. The family would like to thank the Laurels of Massillon and Crossroads Hospice for their wonderful care. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St. W. with Rev. Kevin Slyh officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
