Marilyn Umbenhour, age 84, of Canton, died Thursday morning in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Born in Canton to the late Zerie & Vera (Dean) Huart she was retired from Value City Department Store. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years James Umbenhour in 2004. Marilyn is survived by five daughters: Mrs. Bernard (Jill) Hodgson of Canton, Mrs. Mansel (Jami) Jeffers of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Mrs. George (Jodi) Arsic of Norton, OH, Mrs. Scott (Julie) Martinson of Wadsworth, OH, and Mrs. Matthew (Jan) Eatherton of Canton. Nine grandchildren: Stacy Neel, Jeremy Hodgson, Melissa, Michael & Chad Jeffers, Alex & Alyssa Arsic, and Madison & Matthew Eatherton. Four great grandchildren. Four sisters: Alice Simler & Edith Beneleit both of Canton, Dorothy Ohler of Stone Creek, OH and Joanne Ennes of Venice, FL. Also survived by a brother: Robert Huart of Massillon. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 1 to 3 P.M.
