Marilyn Powers, age 45, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was born September 7, 1970 in Broomhall, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her parents, Loretta A. and Herman "Bud" Powers; sister and brother-in-law Jennifer and Stephen Collis of Columbus, brothers and sister-in-law Stephen Powers and husband Patrick Carroll of Wilmington, Delaware, David and Kelly Powers of Mandeville, Louisiana; nieces and nephews Molly Elizabeth and Brennan Powers James and Timmy Collis; aunts and uncles, Frank McShane, Anne Stengel, Robert & Betty McShane, and numerous cousins. Marilyn was preceded in death by a sister Pamela Jean Powers in 1999.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton with Monsignor James A. Clarke celebrant. Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church.
