Marilyn A. Best, age 84, of Canton, died Saturday evening in Altercare of Louisville after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late William & Elise (Wilson) Miller she had been a life resident and was a graduate of McKinley High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Dwight Best and a sister: Jean Murphy. Marilyn is survived by two sons: John (Jane) Best of Louisville, and William Best of Michigan, two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. A private service and interment will take place for the family.
