Marie Brunner Ward, age 87, of Canton, passed away Monday Morning in Summit's Trace of Greater Canton. Born in Canton to the late Walter and Clara (Barthel) Brunner. Marie had spent her life in Canton and worked at Mercy Medical Center as a housekeeper. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Ward in 1976, sister; Helen Jewel and brother; Russell Brunner. Marie is survived by 2 sisters; Norma Jean Haddix of Canton and Dorothy Weber of New Philadelphia, brother Walter (Ruth) Brunner of Canton. Funeral Service will be Friday, 12 noon in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St. W. Friends may call one hour prior to the service (11-12). Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
