Marie J. Sabo, age 81, of Canton died early Thursday morning in her residence. Born in Canton to the late Albert and Flora (Bell) Gephart she was a life resident. Marie attended McKinley High School and was a member of the Louisville Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her parents Marie was preceded in death by her husband Paul, daughter Deidre Neidig, and son Mark Sabo. She was also preceded by sister: Minnie Amato and brothers: Eli "Al", Leroy, and Donald Gephart. Survivors include a son: John (Marilyn) Sabo of Plain Township, daughter: Ms. Sherry Longwill of Massillon. Grandchildren: Brian (Nikki), and Lindsay Sabo, Tera (Jason) Zinn and Ryan & Darren Longwill. Great grandchildren: Julia, Haleigh, Hanah, Jackson and Jordan. Brother: James (Gloria) Papaleo of Canton. Sisters-in-law: Miriam Sabo & Clara Amos. Brothers-in-law: Steve Sabo & Earl Amos, and special family friend Nick Price. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Aultman Hospice for their loving care of Marie. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St., W. with Rev. Ron Whittenberger officiating. Interment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery.
