Marie E. Gruber, age 92, of Canton, died Tuesday morning in the Canton Christian Home. Born in Canton on March 25, 194 to the late Harry and Josephine (Texter) Long she was a life resident. Marie is survived by her high school sweet heart and husband of 70 years Elmer (Jack) Gruber of Canton. Daughter: Mrs. William (Roberta) Nibert of Boardman, OH. Son: Robert (Nancy) Gruber of Hendersonville, NC. Six Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren. Three sisters: Maxine E. Kessler of Missouri, Margaret A. Petry of Oaklahoma and Betty J. Harman of Canton, OH. In addition to her parents Marie was preceded in death by a grandson: Michael Nibert. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the Canton Christian Home with Chaplain Ronald Iwanusa officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
