Marie E. Bolender, Age 98, of Naples Florida, formerly of Canton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2008 in the Frances Georgeson Hospice House in Naples, Florida. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, November 27, 1909 to Josephine Carrol Cobedesh and Thaddeus Cobedesh. She moved to Canton as a young girl and graduated from McKinley High School in 1928. As a young woman Marie worked locally and for the US Government in Accounting. She was active in the original Timken Mercy Service League, St. Michael The Archangel Parish, Walsh Woman's Committee and the Congress Lake Club. Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Bolender, formerly of the Standard Printing Company. She is survived by her daughter Cathleen B. Prosise of Canton and Naples, grandson Eric M. Bjornson of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and granddaughter Ingrid B. Bjornson of Cumming, GA. Calling hours are one hour prior to the Mass 10-11 AM Friday in the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 11 AM at St. Michael's Parish. Burial following at St. John Cemetery.
