Marian E. Lothamer, age 84, of Canton died Wednesday morning in Allay Senior Center after a brief illness. Born in Reed City, Michigan she was retired from the Westfield Life Insurance Company where she was Compliance Manager. Marian was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church, Sanssouci Garden Club, and Westfield Country Club. She was an avid golfer, gardner and loved playing cards. Preceded in death by her husband Carl R. "Bud" Lothamer August 27, 2009 she is survived by a step daughter: Linda Psomiades of Massillon. Granddaughter: Melinda Ickes of Hudson, OH, great grandson: Beckham and a sister: Beverly Waumans of Indiana. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A private funeral and entombment will on Friday in the North Lawn Mausoleum with Rev. Douglas A. Patton officiating.
