Marian L. Bowers, age 89 of Canton passed away Tuesday morning in St. Joseph Care Center. Born in Canton to the late Albert and Dorothy (Knee) Kehl, she was a life resident. Marian formerly worked with her family in their family owned Florist and greenhouse, Albert Kehl Florist. She was a member of the Ladies Elks Club Assoc., an avid bowler and ballroom dancer. In addition to her parents Marian was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Bowers in 1990 and a sister Janice Rohr. She is survived by her daughters; Suzanne (Thomas) Payne and Darlene (William) Wachsman. Grandchildren; Dawn (Ray) Middleton, Stephen (Terresa) Sigman, Deborah Wagner, Sara Jay Payne, Jennifer (Denny) Tan and Jessica Cropley. Nine great grandchildren and a sister Donna Keihl also survive. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Avenue NW. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Please sign the guest book.
