Margaret Arlene Yerem, age 89, of North Canton, Passed away Monday morning in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Margaret was born in Canton to William J. and Margaret B. (Thompson) Thomas, she had worked and managed Lucia's Restaurant for 20 years and also worked at Janson's Deli, member of AARP and Canton Democratic Women's Club, she enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers and Pilsbury Doughboy items, everyone will miss her baking, cooking and recipes, Margaret gave unconditional love, had a great sense of humor, she touched many lives with her caring ways, but, most of all her smile and laughter will be greatly missed. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Peter Paul Yerem in June 2009, a son; Peter C. Yerem, brothers; Jesse, Charles, Jack, and Donald Thomas, sisters; Nellie Paar, and Cathryn Robins. She is survived by daughters; Judith Reolfi and Margaret "Honey" (Terry) Bowling, son; Thomas G. Yerem, all of North Canton. 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, 11 AM in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW, with Deacon Ron Reolfi officiating, Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 PM. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
