Margaret (Peg) Wadley, born July 8, 1913, widow of the late John Wadley, former Executive Director of the Akron YMCA died June 9, 2007. An Akron resident for many years and Congress Lake, Hartville since 1977, she was a graduate of Our Lady of the Elms and the University of Akron. Margaret was a teacher at several Akron elementary schools for nineteen years. She was a volunteer teacher of English as a Second Language at the International Institute where she had taught 48 different nationalities since 1977. A member of the Congress Lake Club since 1967 and a member of the Akron District Golf Association in the 70's, she was an avid golfer and played "the game" until she was 88. Survived by her beloved Son Michael Wadleigh, Stonington, Me., her precious Granddaughter and Spouse, Theo Wadleigh Dolotta and Michael Dolotta, Los Angeles, Ca., Great grandson Noah Dolotta and Great granddaughter Bianca Dolotta, sister Betty Davidson, Palisades, Co., Daughter-in-law, Renee Wadleigh, Urbana, Il., dog Ruby and 35 nieces and nephews. To celebrate the life of Peg, A reception will be held Sunday 4 PM July 29 at her home and a memorial service will be held Monday 11 AM July 30 at St Paul's Episcopal Church, 1361 W.
