Margaret D. Lautenslager, age 90, of Canton died Monday morning in the residence after an extended illness. Margaret was born in Canton to the late William and Hannah (Reese) Stafford. She retired in 1972 from the Canton City Schools where she had taught for many years. Margaret was a member of First Baptist Church, Trirosis, and the Order of Eastern Star. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: William Lautenslager in 2003 also preceded by seven brothers and one sister. She is survived by a daughter Bonnie Goulden and a son: James Lautenslager both of Canton. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. A private service was held on Wednesday in Forest Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Paul Ruddy officiating. Those who desire may make memorial contributions to Aultman Hospice 2821 Woodlawn Ave., N.W.
