Margaret E. Gonter (Slusser), age 94, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on June 10, 2014. She was born on January 7, 1920 in Marlboro Township to the late Ida (Moser) Wilbur Slusser and graduated from Marlboro High School in 1937. She married Chester Gonter December 17, 1939. She moved to Sarasota, Fl. In 1974 and resided there until her death. Preceded in death by her husband Chester in 1992; grandson Ronald Gonter Jr.; great granddaughter Pearl Lynn Gonter; and 3 brothers Richard, Herbert and Raymond Slusser. She is survived by 3 sisters Betty Shoemaker, Grace Tyson and Maxine Shetler; her 4 children Ronald (Georgia) Gonter of California, Judy (Phil) Herzog of South Carolina, Phillip (Bonnie) Gonter of Canton and Shirley Moser of Hartville; 9 grandchildren; various great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Shirley (Herbert) Slusser and Ivy Arckinal. Burial will take place July 8th Tuesday 4 PM at Mount Peace Cemetery followed by calling hours from 4:30 - 6 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville.
