Marcia S. Higgins, age 68, of Louisville, Ohio, passed away Saturday September 28, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Canton, Ohio on November 27, 1955, to the late Eva and Paul Higgins. Marcia was a nurse that made it her mission to advocate for mental health while working at the state hospital and later at the crisis center. She enjoyed spending time with her friends after work going out to different spots around Stark County. Something that brought her happiness was gathering family and friends to spend time together and enjoy a good laugh.

Preceded in death by her brothers Carl and Jeffery Higgins.

She is survived by her son Ian (Mariah) Garretson, companion Al Garretson, brother Tim (Marcia L.) Higgins, Nephews Justin Higgins, Drew (Jackie) Higgins, Derick (Autumn) Higgins, cousins Ruth Sampson, Julie (Heath) Frankland, Stan (Rita), Brian (Sara) Ball, and many more family and friends.
