Luther Osborne, age 89, of Waynesburg, passed away at home following a long illness with his family by his side on December 11, 2021. He was born on October 6, 1932, in Toe River, North Carolina to Hiram and Minnie (Freeman) Osborne. Luther spent over 40 years in the steel industry, retiring from Canton Casting. He was an avid hunter, loved to fish, and loved to camp. Most importantly he loved to share those hobbies with his family.

He is preceded in death by an infant son Terry Wayne and 8 siblings. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Lillian; children Robert (Earawanna) Osborne, Stanley Osborne, Larry (Laura) Osborne, Minnie (Terrence) Henry, Blaine Osborne, Wanda Mowder, and Michael Osborne; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Thursday, December 16 from 11AM – 1 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. Funeral services will begin at 1 PM with Pastor Randy Shafer officiating. Final resting place is Melscheimer Cemetery.
