IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lucille
Greene
August 14, 1943 – March 23, 2023
Lucille "Lulu" Greene, 79, went home to be with Jesus on March 23 after a year-long battle with Leukemia.
She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Paul's in N Canton. As a homemaker and house cleaner, she was the "Stain Master" with an amazing ability to get out ANY stain. And no, she did not reveal her secret! If bargain shopping was an Olympic sport, she would hold all the medals! She was an avid card and dice game player, in particular Yahtzee! Even in her late age she was able to add the dice faster than any accountant.
She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Ann, Susan, Janice, and Rachel; their spouses; and her sister, Jeanne. She has 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many nieces and nephews, all of whom love her dearly.
Lulu was met in heaven by her parents, her two brothers and her husband.
Of the many things she has instilled in her family, the ability to find humor in any situation will be relied on in the years to come.
Some Lulu-isms that will be missed:
"Put it upstairs!"
"Better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it."
"She's feeling her Cheerios!"
And the one that has the most meaning now is: "I'll love and leave ya."
Funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 31 at 10:00 am at St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton.
