Lucille M. Ittner Essner, died on March 21, 2025. She was born on January 4, 1933, in Wayne County to the late Clayton and Margaret (Barkman) Amstutz. She lived most of her life in Canton and North Canton. Lucille graduated in 1951 from Lehman High School. And in 1952 married Jack Ittner helping him with an insurance agency until his death in 1987. In 1993 she married Ira Essner Jr. who died in 2012. She is also preceded by her sister La Grace Moldovan. Lucille is survived by stepdaughter; Barbara (Neil) Rupe, stepsons; Ira (Jackie) Essner II and Timothy Essner, grandchildren; Adam Rupe and Megan (Adam) Genest, great grandson; Andrew Genest and nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday, March 28th at 3pm at Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home, 4817 Cleveland Avenue NW, Canton, OH 44709. Friends will be received from 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Lucille's ashes will be scattered at Foxfield Nature Preserve at the Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio.
