Louis C. Wittensoldner, age 80, of Hartville, passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon January 28, 2006 at Aultman Hospital. Born in Millvale, PA on September 18, 1925 to the late Louis C. Sr. and Mary (Patz) Wittensoldner, the family moved to Ohio in 1929 and Louis attended Marlboro School and helped on the family farm. He worked for Standard Oil Co. for 23 years and retired from SME Cement Co. A member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and served on the Marlboro Zoning Board of Appeals. Louis loved to play cards and dominos with family and friends. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan (Bolanz); children, James Sr. and Rudy of Louisville, John and Peggy, Larry and Debbie all of Hartville, Laura and Harvey Zimmerman of Massillon, Les and Bobbie of Alliance, Joe and Patti of Randolph; 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Thompson and Helen Beck both of FL, Anna Snyder of Hartville; sisters-in-law, Judy Wittensoldner of Canton and Barbara Wittensoldner of Hartville; and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey and 2 brothers, Joseph and Charles. Friends may call Tuesday 3-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 10 AM in the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church Harrisburg with Father Howard Ziemba celebrant. Final resting place is the church cemetery.
