Louis Lampert, age 89, of Canton and formerly of Manchester, passed peacefully away Monday, July 3, 2006 in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Born December 9, 1916 in Fairmont, WV to the late Vincent and Julianna (Bab) Lampert. Louis retired from Babcock and Wilcox (McDermott) in Barberton as a core-maker, but kept continually busy during his retirement with his various projects. Leaving to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 55 years, Irma, of the residence, who cared for him throughout his declining health with amazing strength and courage. He will also be missed by son, Attila of Canton, daughter and son-in-law Suzanna and Thomas Barkett, grandchildren Ashley, Kaitlyn and Nicholas Barkett all of Bolivar whom he loved very much. Louis also leaves a loving and trusted family member, Lon Krautwurst of Canton, who repeatedly gave tirelessly and unselfishly of himself through the years and especially during the illness.
