Loren L. Werstler, age 73, of Hartville, was called home to rest by his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Loren was born on January 13, 1936 in Lake Township to the late H. Howard and Dessie B. Werstler. He graduated from Hartville High School and was a farmer. He also worked in home delivery sales of dairy products. He taught and lived the Lord's command to love thy neighbor by volunteering at Doctor's Hospital for many years. Preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Lorene and Carl Wymer. Loren is survived by his children, Lori (Gary) Ciulla of Medina, Amy (Lee) Snyder of Cuyahoga Falls, Wendy (Keith) Gillespie of Cuyahoga Falls, Daniel (Julie) Werstler of Canton and Jeni (Brooke) Wilson of Gahanna; sister Rachel (Robert) Smith of Galion, OH; brother Richard (Wilma) Werstler of North Canton; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the Canton Health Care Center, Hospice at the Inn of Medina, and Aseracare Hospice Teams and staff of Altercare of Hartville. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, 1460 State St. N.E., North Canton, OH 44721 with Pastor Leah Schafer officiating. Interment will follow in St. Jacob's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Friday one half hour prior to services, 10:30-11:00 am in the atrium in St. Jacob's Church.
