Loren L. Fawver, age 87 of North Canton, passed away Tuesday evening, August 28, 2012 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1925 in Green, Ohio to Henry and Bertha (Martin) Fawver. Loren graduated from North Canton High School in 1943 and attended Mt Union College. He was a WWII Army Veteran having served with the 120th Infantry in Europe. Mr. Fawver was a Cost Accountant for Teledyne Monarch, retiring in 1987. He was an active golfer at Tannenhauf Golf Course and enjoyed Bowling. Loren had been a firefighter in Marlboro where he was also a member of the Lions Club. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Charlotte; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and William Harrison of Annapolis, MD., Lori and Mike Foltz of North Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Delbert and Barbara Fawver of St. Louis, Missouri; sisters, Eleanor Swinderman, Arola Dean Spangler; brothers, Joseph and David Fawver; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 4 brothers. Calling hours will be Friday 6-8:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Funeral services will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Grella officiating. Interment will be in Marlboro Cemetery.
