Obituary
Lonnie R. Norris, age 68 of Louisville, peacefully passed away at home due to ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease) on Feb. 13, 2018. He was born in Philippi, WV to the late Harold and Mary Norris. Lonnie worked at Timken for 18 years and retired from Louisville (Elementary) Schools after 31 years. He and his wife Cathy also owned Treasure Trove Antiques of Canton and N. Canton for over 37 years. Lonnie enjoyed hunting; flea markets and refinishing furniture.
Survived by his wife, Catharine (Kutz) of 47 years; two sons, retired First Sgt. Jason (retired Master Sgt., Misty) of Tennessee and David (Lisa) of Louisville; sisters, Freda (Holly) Dalton, Linda (Lee) Adams; brothers, Darrel, Paul (Verna), Larry (Sharon); beloved Grandpa to Dylan, Easton, Leah and Caeden. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kermit (Sharon).
A special thank you to Dr. Steven Weaver, NE Ohio ALS Association, Aultman Hospice team of Kelly, Marie, Linda and Nicole and especially to "our rock" Donn F. Kutz (brother).
Funeral service will be 10a.m. Saturday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7p.m. on Friday.
