Lloyd H. Monroe Jr, age 74, of Hartville went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday September 8, 2018. He was born in Looneyville, WV on September 30, 1943 to the late Lloyd Sr. and Emma (Lipscomb) Monroe. He retired from Sonoco Paper Products of Munroe Falls in 2001. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, NASCAR, feeding the birds and squirrels and sitting on the porch waving to everyone.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Virginia (Griffith); daughters Rhenna Hanna of Sebring, Peggy (Ken) Shelton of West Chester; grandchildren Randy Monroe, Madison and Kelsey Shelton; brother Donald (Rhonda) Monroe; sister Linda (Derill) Ferguson; sisters-in-law Bobbie Lipscomb, Ann Triplett, Donna Griffith; and brother-in-law Robert Edward (Marian) Griffith.

Preceded in death by brother Bob Lipscomb; and siblings-in-law, Carl Griffith, Hobart Griffith, Mary White and Orie Deel.

Calling hours are Wednesday 5-8 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Thursday 11 AM at Marlboro Cemetery with Pastor Randy Payne officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marlboro Volunteer Fire Dept.
