Lizzie Ann Yoder, age 94, of Hartville, passed peacefully into her eternal rest on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. She was born December 28, 1922 in Hartville to the late John J. and Emma (Miller) Yoder. She was baptized in 1941 at the King Amish Church and was a faithful member of Maple Grove Mennonite Church for many years. She volunteered her cooking skills at various Mennonite institutions and was a caregiver for her family and friends.

She is survived by siblings, Esther (John) Hershberger, LeRoy (Martha), Wayne (Linda), Leona (Norman) Slabaugh, Joseph (Janice); sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Mary Ellen (Schrock) and Mary Ellen (Miller) Yoder; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by siblings, Alvin, Henry, Clara (Henry) Byler, John Jr., Paul and James; and brother-in-law Elmer Yoder.

Calling hours are Friday 5-8 PM and one hour before services Saturday (9-10 AM) at Maple Grove Mennonite Church. Funeral services are Saturday 10 AM in the church with Pastor Roderick Miller officiating. Burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, where she worked, or Maple Grove Mennonite Church.
