Lisa M. "Sassy" Hudson, age 57, went home to be with The Lord on December 15th, 2022, after years of courageously battling illness. She transitioned peacefully surrounded by family and is in the presence of her Lord Jesus Christ.

Lisa was born August 2nd, 1965, in Curtis Ohio to Charles and Martha (Ingram) Weikert. She is a graduate of Hamilton High School and Stark State College. Moving to Canton in 1984, she became a Teacher and Director of Temple Kiddie Kollege and later an Administrative Assistant at Canton Temple of Praise.

She was active in Church and always made herself available to assist in anyway needed. She loved singing and was part of the church choir and The King's Daughters, a women's singing group. Lisa loved crafting, cooking and traveling when she could. But her first love was her family and granddaughters, always showing their pictures to anyone she could. She also loved sharing her testimony and love of God to family and friends, telling everyone that she counted her battle as a testimony of how "God brings her through."

Lisa is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jack Hudson; children Heather Hudson, Marjorie (Bradley) Tyson and Amanda (Nick) Forchione; grandchildren Cadence and Nora Tyson; siblings Charles Ingram and Rhonda Weikert; 12 nieces and nephews, 26 great nieces and nephews, and 1 great grandniece.

A Celebration of Life for Lisa will be held on January 7, 2023. Calling hours will be from 10 am to Noon with the service immediately following, officiated by Pastor Dana Gammill. The service will be held at Trinity Gospel Temple: 1612 Tuscarawas Street W. Canton.
