Linda Schaeublin Smith, age 65, of Canton, passed away Sunday, June 20th in Aultman Hospital after a long and brave battle with Scleroderma. Born in Canton, May 22, 1945 to John and Marjorie Schaeublin. Survived by daughters; Amanda Smith of Canton and Darcy (Jason) Brown of Dayton and one grandson; Lincoln James Brown. Also survived by brother; Thomas Schaeublin and sisters; Sandra Burch and JoAnn (O.J.) Schaeublin Smith. A graduate of GlenOak High School and Bowling Green State University, Linda was a devoted mother and actively volunteered for many years. She was an art teacher in the Dayton area before returning to Canton. A memorial service will be Wednesday; 6:00 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. Friends may call 5 to 6 P.M. on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, Arthritis Foundation, Canton Christian Home Association of Benevolent Care or charity of Choice.
