Linda Kay Morris, age 60, of Suffield, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon February 24, 2014 after a very courageous battle with cancer surrounded by family and friends and is now rejoicing in Heaven. She was born in Canton, Ohio on September 23, 1953 to Doris (Mills) Mohler and the late Virgil Mohler. Linda has been married 37 years to John J. Morris and they fulfilled each other's lives with happiness, travel, faith and family. Together, they celebrated life with their three children, five grandchildren, close family and caring friends. A graduate of Lake High School and Mount Union College, Linda was a Medical Technologist at Aultman Hospital for 37 years. She was a devoted member of Grace Community Church of Alliance. She enjoyed the home Bible study, cooking, traveling, sewing and pets. She is survived by her husband John; children Jessica and Jim Mandat, Jacob and Niki Morris, Meghan and Aaron McMichael; mother Doris Mohler; grandchildren Landon, Simon, Joel, Mason and Oscar; sisters Dawn and Paul Bowers, Joni and Eddie Nagel; sisters-in-law Jackie and Charles Pace, Karen and Paul Pickett; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Virgil Mohler; and father and mother-in-law Jack and Ruth Morris. Calling hours are Friday 3:00- 5:30 PM at Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville. A Celebration of Linda's Life will begin at 6:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Michaels officiating.
