Linda Czerkies, age 84, of Hartville passed away November 10, 2025. She was born in Canton on May 8, 1941, and is a graduate of Mckinley High School and spent time in various customer service roles and then as a bus driver for Lake Local Schools. Linda also was fortunate to operate her own business, a retail craft shop specializing in candles and other items. Linda had a keen eye for looking at something that would be "thrown away" and turn it into something magical. Linda enjoyed her over 30 years living in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. Linda loved all animals especially cats and dogs and had several over her life, her family and her strong faith were both pillars of her time here. Linda's greatest joy while working was her real estate work, specifically restoring old homes for future family use and she loved to operate her bed and breakfast. Linda had a love of dancing, especially ballroom dancing. She always did things over the top in everything she did!

Linda is preceded in death by her husband George Czerkies; her children Terry Owens and Charles (Chuck) Owens, Jr; and her siblings: Jack McCoy, Carla Glick, Alice Huth, Dean McCoy

She survived by her daughter Sherry Owens; grandchildren Zachary R. Ginther and Alec D. Ginther; 1st husband Charles Owens, Sr, brother Mike McCoy, and Cookie the cat
