Lillian A. Humbert, age 95, of Canton, died Tuesday evening in the Inn at Belden Village. Born in Canton to the late John C. and Mabel L. (Koontz) Schaffner she was a life resident. Lillian was the former owner and operator of Sturm Appliance and retired as store manager for George Ann's Dress Shops. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands: William C. Sturm & William E. Humbert, son Barry Sturm, also by a sister: Dorothy Zerbe and two brothers: Eugene & John Schaffner. Lillian is survived by her daughter: Mrs. Jeffrey (Jill) Saffell of Canton. Five grandchildren: Jason, Justin, Jeremy, Michelle & Eric. Nine great grandchildren: Katlyn, Hunter, Jacob, Garrett, Kayla, Faith, Emilie, Kaleb & Kaiya Rose. A brother: Alvin Schaffner of Canton also survives. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 10:00 A.M. in St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Beneleit as officiant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The procession will form at the church on Friday. Friends may call Thursday (TODAY) from 5 to 7 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St., W.
